Update

We have been on vacation the last two weeks and my parent's computer doesn't like my camera. The last two days I have been trying to post a bunch of slide shows I made of Connor's birthday and our visit with Mom and Dad but for some reason that isn't working either. Connor had a wonderful birthday. It is hard to believe that he is really three years old. Everyone always says that you never know where all the time goes and now I really believe it! We had a BBQ with lots of friends and family to celebrate. I had made a really cool (I know Dad, I'm butchering the English language with my use of slang! Sorry) pirate ship cake but it fell apart so we took it to my parent's house and everyone enjoyed it there. Mom came down the day after Connor's party and drove the kids and I up to her house a week before Patrick was able to get time off work. It was nice because Emma and her new baby, Elizabeth, were there at the same time and we got to have a nice visit. It was kinda a zoo but Dad only mentioned moving in with Granddad twice so it must not have been too bad. Patrick joined us on Thursday night and was able to stay 'till the following Friday (just over a week). On Sunday the ninth, We had Sophie baptized. Brock and Christina are her godparents. Mom and I made a nice cake for everyone after mass and it was a big hit! All of it got eaten! (Mom had tripled the recipe) WE had a big pancake brunch that afternoon with All of my family including Emma and her husband and their daughter, Mike and Jeani and Christina and her parents. The weather was beautiful while Patrick was there and we spent a lot of time down at the beach. We took Mary and went into Victoria one day. We did a little shopping, walked by the waterfront and played at Beacon Hill Park. We have been home now for a few day and things are getting back to normal. It was hard the first day Patrick went back to work. I had really gotten used to having other people around to help with the kids. Hopefully I can get pictures up soon. I'll keep trying!
